This week we’ll be covering column addition in Maths and explanations in English. So if you’d like to look at these over the weekend, maybe online, and just rehearse some of the features.
No… not two new students in our class… Adam and Eve was of course the first man and woman whom we learned about today in assembly.
Often we are taught Bible stories in isolation without knowing the order, or where in history the stories take place. To counter this confusion we decided to create a Bible timeline, the results of which will be published when finished.
Here we are feeling our hearts after running twice around the outdoor area and field. This will be done every day hopefully increasing to 5 laps by half term. Research shows it increases children’s concentration, along with the obvious health benefits.
It was great to have Hope Church, Ashton, finally back with us. You can see them telling us the story of creation, with a little help from some volunteers.
I’m delighted to report that so far the children’s behaviour has been fantastic. Everyone has stayed green all the time so far. Long may it continue.
Hello everyone. It’s great to finally post on here after a few technical difficulties with the class iPads activation of the word press site. This week we’ll be looking at the value of digits in numbers and number sequences in Maths. In English we are looking at Greek myths and writing our own, whilst in topic we are continuing our analysis of the Ancient Greeks. Any additional input on such things with your child would be greatly appreciated. Have a great week.
